Taste of Home

“A food journalist once asked me, ‘How do you feel about the way the rest of the world perceives or views Balinese food?’ My answer was simple, ‘They don’t …’ Most people outside of our small island have little to no idea what Balinese food is supposed to taste like … I hope to change that.”

Chef Wayan, excerpt from PAON Real Balinese Cooking

Chef Wayan’s signature is fusing modern cooking techniques with traditional Southeast Asian flavors, prepared from fresh ingredients. He creates homestyle dishes packed with bold flavors from spices, roots, leaves, nuts and chillies from the isles, showcasing the best of Balinese food, presented for the world stage.
